I think any time you have a super team, WHETHER it's all MEN or all women or both, what you have are people with very UNIQUE strengths that aren't always TOTALLY compatible.

It's so WEIRD to turn on a switch and be the ROLE model for all WOMEN, for all African-Americans. That doesn't HAPPEN that easily. It just doesn't. And so I don't act up in public and I don't do anything weird - because my sisters are watching me, not because the world is watching me.

The problem for all women is we're identified by how we LOOK INSTEAD of by our HEADS and our HEARTS.

Obviously, there is MUCH similarity among the CHALLENGES of transgender people and all women - from HEALTH CARE to harassment to DISCRIMINATION in the workplace.

The first job I ever had was at a pool-liner-manufacturing plant. Minimum WAGE was $4.25, and that's what I was MAKING. It was this huge, hot, un-air-conditioned FACTORY staffed with all women and me. This is in Georgia, during the summertime, so it was pretty RIDICULOUS.

There are many role models I've been AROUND, and kind of the biggest one - there's a show called 'Push Girls,' with all women in wheelchairs, and they're all REALLY GOOD FRIENDS of mine. And one, Angela Rockwood, is STILL modeling, in a wheelchair. After a car accident.

I THINK what people need to REALIZE is that, with trans people, we're LIKE everybody ELSE. No group of people are all the same. All women are not the same, all men are not the same, all children are not the same. It's the same thing with trans people - we're all so DIFFERENT, we have different goals, different dreams, and different aspirations.

I am a fierce advocate for the economic empowerment of all women. In the Congress, I am one of the leaders of an initiative called 'When Women Succeed, America SUCCEEDS.' It is an economic agenda for women aimed at MAKING sure women have equal pay for equal work, PAID sick LEAVE, and affordable child CARE.

I come from a family of all WOMEN and one boy, my BROTHER. We're all women and we're all precocious and opinionated and like to have fun and we ALWAYS had friends in the HOUSE and we were always, like, half-naked.

Some of my favorite actresses are Cate Blanchett, I LOVE her. I love Zoe Saldana, and Julianne Moore is one of my favorites. I like WOMEN who choose diverse roles and have that STRENGTH, which I think all women have but some women embrace it, PRESENT it, and live in it.

If you get a pant that fits the WOMAN, as all WOMEN know, you get a loyal customer for LIFE.

I THINK all women WANT to get out of our own little bubble and challenge a MAN's world. And I love CHALLENGES.

All women deserve a dignified and respectful workplace in which talent, hard WORK and LOYALTY are RECOGNIZED, revered, and rewarded.

I don't really CARE what people TELL children - when you believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth FAIRY, one more fib won't hurt. But I am infuriated by the growing NOTION, posited in some touchy-feely quarters, that all women are, or can be, BEAUTIFUL.
