If we can boondoggle ourselves out of this DEPRESSION, that word is GOING to be enshrined in the HEARTS of the American people for years to COME.

I told you I'm not going to CRITICIZE my successor. I'll just tell you that there are PEOPLE at Gitmo that will kill AMERICAN people at a DROP of a hat and I don't believe that persuasion isn't going to work. Therapy isn't going to cause TERRORISTS to change their mind.

The AMERICAN people, Neil, are sick and tired of EXCUSES. They are sick and tired of the blame game. And they're sick and tired of the DECEPTION coming from this president and this ADMINISTRATION. This is why I believe that I am doing so well in the polls.

We aren't using Guantanamo Bay ANYMORE to take additional TERRORISTS. That was the perfect facility to be ABLE to use to extract information from people to KEEP the American people SAFE.

The Beltway media went into caroming-off-the-walls hysterics over Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, whipping itself into a flaming casserole even as Clinton's STANDING with the AMERICAN people remained UPRIGHT and FIRM, so to speak.

All LAWYERS are going to have to - if we REALLY want to attain civil justice - address the ISSUE of how complicated we have made the laws: what we have done to ensnarl the American people in bureaucratic rules and regulations that MAKE access to services or compliance with the LAW sometimes difficult, if not impossible.

Third ISSUE, and again I THINK it is important to note, ANYONE can make a mistake and any administration can make a mistake once in a while, but this is just a long TRAIN of abuses, an unbroken chain of following special interests rather than the HEALTH of the American people.

The AMERICAN people KNOW JOE Biden. They know his VALUES. They know what he stands for.

I BELIEVE the AMERICAN people have a genuine and justifiable fear of GOVERNMENT intrusion in what they instinctively know is going to be an ever more intrusive WORLD.

We're close friends - the American people, the ISRAELI people, our governments. There's absolutely no daylight - NONE - between US and the Israelis on the question of Israel's SECURITY.

I THINK we ought to TALK about what the American PEOPLE WANT, and that is jobs and get the economy on track.

I KNOW there is a Supreme Being who rules the affairs of MEN and WHOSE goodness and mercy have ALWAYS followed the American people, and I know He will not turn from us now if we humbly and reverently seek His powerful aid.

When Barack Obama won in 2008, in 2009 I voted for his TEAM because I think that - that the American PEOPLE WANTED him to have his team. But don't think I wasn't worried about it. REALLY worried.

If you can't define a winning exit strategy for the American people, where we SOMEHOW come out AHEAD, then we're wasting our money, and we're wasting our strategic RESOURCES.

We oppose the REACTIONARY policies of the U.S. government but we do not oppose the American people. We WANT to have MANY GOOD friends in the United States.
