I am quite handy; not to sound bragadocious, but I've been working with WOOD and building THINGS my ENTIRE life. I used to be a skateboarder and built ramps with my father. Then, the first TWOYEARS I lived in Los Angeles, I worked as a carpenter building sets.
When I started on 'Roseanne,' it was a great ACHIEVEMENT for me at the time. But I wasn't a PART of building it; I wasn't a CARPENTER in CREATING that juggernaut.
You FIND a movie you love and you figure out who directed it, then you go to the video STORE and go through all the John Carpenter stuff and all the SAM Raimi stuff.
