We should SEEK to love our lives and LIVE fully, but not to extend them indefinitely. We should love our CHILDREN exuberantly, but not CLING to them or curtail their freedoms. We should treasure the material WORLD without seeking to own and control it.

I cling to the fantasy that I COULD have done SOMETHING more CREATIVE. Like ACTUALLY writing a script, or writing a BOOK. But the awful truth is that I... probably can't!

Although many of us CONSIDER ourselves forward-thinkers, we STILL cling tenaciously to the OLD values of the monetary system. We ACCEPT, WITHOUT sufficient consideration, a system that breeds inefficiencies and actually encourages the creation of shortages.

I cling to the hope that with more and more women in the workplace, we can teach YOUNGER GENERATIONS to be respectful and also encourage young women to SPEAK up when they've experienced ABUSE.

Publicly, defense lawyers cling to the TEXT book theory that the defendant has no BURDEN of proof and that no negative inference should ever be TAKEN when a defendant doesn't defend himself on the witness stand.

And yet, there are STILL people in American politics who, for some reason, CLING to this belief that AMERICA is better off adopting the economic policies of nations whose people who immigrate here from there.

Teens are passionate, questioning, curious, have a bit of the idealism I STILL CLING to, and they're making decisions for the first time that can alter the COURSE of their lives - and SOMETIMES, the course of the world.

Don't CLING to ANYTHING and don't REJECT anything.
