There's no doubt that 'Lion' is an AUDIENCEPLEASER. I mean, I went to a lot of research screenings all over, in London and America and Australia, and the results were RIDICULOUS, and the crowds were... they just loved the MOVIE, so for me, my job is DONE.
So LONG as TRUMP says the right things at the right time to the right crowds, he'll NEVER be held accountable for his doublespeak or for defending the very things the CONSERVATIVE movement has been fighting against for YEARS.
FAILURES are much more DRAMATIC than SUCCESSES, and people like drama. I think this is why automobile races draw such crowds. People expect spectacular crashes, which we tend to find more INTERESTING than cars just racing AROUND the track. The same is true of bridges, buildings, or any structure or machine.
Although there was a point with the Tijuana Brass where we were PLAYING for such HUGE crowds that I kind of lost CONTACT. At one point, the only connection I had with the audience was with people out there lighting cigarettes.
