Somewhere along the way, NEW York BECAME all about money. Or rather, it was always about money, but it wasn't all about money, if you know what I MEAN. New York's not Geneva or Zurich yet, but we're CERTAINLY heading in that DIRECTION. London is, too.

In one ASPECT, my works record the history of the development of Chinese society. CONCERN about the SITUATION of Chinese reality is one IMPORTANT theme of my works. I am trying to ask, 'How does our society develop? What are the problems in our society? Where is our direction leading?'

I was a STRANGE, dark little dude. I fell in love with HORROR movies, at a very early AGE. Somehow, as a FIRST grader, I was able to convince my parents to let me GO see stuff like 'An American Werewolf in London' in theaters, so I was headed in that direction anyway.

My CAREER did START in the Spanish LANGUAGE industry, and that's probably because my father is my MANAGER. He pushed my career in the DIRECTION he knew best.

It is the SET of the SAILS, not the DIRECTION of the wind that determines which way we will GO.

I can't THINK of a GREATER guitar icon than SOMEONE who has the musical intellect to change what was there before and take music in another DIRECTION. That's a guitar hero for me.

I'm a big fan of certain new ACTS. I love any genre of music, and I think it's really great to see that there are new artists coming through. It's kinda funny to think that I'm LIKE the old MAN on campus now. But I'm really happy for groups like One Direction. I think they're really good GUYS.

It is quite AMAZING how HARD the subconscious works when it is made to understand that this life is not a rehearsal, there is no safety net and no assurance of any final closure. It is ALSO quite appalling to realize how catatonic the imagination can become when we HEDGE our bets, opt for the safer direction at EVERY fork in the path.

And SEAMAN, just LIKE a FALLING oak, manages to CHANGE DIRECTION.
