You TRY to do the RIGHT THING at the right time and make a GOOD IMPRESSION on people.

I know a LOT of police officers who are on the force to do the right thing to protect people. But how can you DENY this pattern, this DISTURBING pattern, Alton Sterling, Mr. Castile in my own community, Philando Castile, but then Tamir RICE, Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Sandra Bland?

Asking people for MONEY is a hard thing to do. But helping people do the right thing is not hard. So I OFTEN CALL people up and suggest ways they can SPEND their money to make a meaningful impact, and I don't FEEL I've asked them for money.

I BELIEVE people who GO into POLITICS want to do the right thing. And then they HIT a BIG wall of re-election and the pettiness of politics. In the end, politics gets in the way of the business of people.

One of my favorite MOVIE characters is Mother Sister from Spike LEE's 'Do The Right Thing.' It is such a BEAUTIFUL name, and she is such a beautiful character, Mother Sister, the all-seeing eye over the BLOCK.

I THINK, with every KID I COACH, I'm trying to GET them to do the right thing all the time. I always feel LIKE you should raise the bar. There needs to be expectations.

Once your BACK's up against the wall and you've been BEAT down, you START LOOKING at trying to do the right thing.

I was looking very much for a CAREER. My SECOND MARRIAGE to Stan Herman had ENDED, and I wanted very much to be independent, not take alimony from him, be on my own, do the right THING.

So many athletes are afraid to USE their platform to do the right thing and SPEAK what they feel, and that's very DEPRESSING. Sure, they are afraid of insulting people and losing money because of it, and everyone wants to make the maximum amount of money in their lifetime. But at the expense of who you are? I don't KNOW. That just wasn't in my DNA.

I don't FEEL any pressure at all to GO along with anybody. I feel pressure to do the RIGHT THING for U.S. MARKETS and U.S. investors.

You can stay TRUE to yourself and your friends, you can do the right THING, you can do with your life whatever you WANT to. I think that's a LOVELY MESSAGE.
