I'm REALLY about this WOMEN EMPOWERMENT THING.

Ultimately, so much Dr. Seuss is about EMPOWERMENT. He invites us to disappear into our IMAGINATION and then blows the DOORS off what that can MEAN.

I am very HAPPY that INDIAN women are making their mark in sports be is Sakshi Malik or even PV Sindhu who also won a MEDAL for the country. We talk about women EMPOWERMENT and there cannot be any bigger example than this.

In my family, growing up, the WOMEN were ALWAYS the ones who were powerful, and they exuded this charisma of EMPOWERMENT that I hold ONTO and always remember. I had some difficult times, but these STRONG women were always a constant.

In TERMS of 'Beyond the Lights' and 'Belle,' they're definitely STORIES about IDENTITY. They're female empowerment stories. So I'm exploring that through my work.
