I have to KEEP doing me. I have to not look at what EVERYBODY ELSE is doing, or what everybody else thinks should be happening right now.

Love is a GROSS EXAGGERATION of the DIFFERENCE between one PERSON and EVERYBODY else.

When you see the NEIGHBORHOOD that you grew up in being underwater, either you can SIT down and look like EVERYBODY else, or you can GET up and go try to help somebody that needs to be helped.

My FAMILY is from New Orleans. My GRANDMA is French. Everybody else is from Mississippi - Creole PEOPLE.

A bass player has to THINK and PLAY LIKE a bass player. A drummer has to play and think like a drummer, and stay out of the WAY of the vocalist. The guitar player has to respect EVERYBODY else.

I wouldn't express myself as shy. I have to be in my comfort ZONE, like everybody ELSE. You have to TAKE TIME to feel people out. You can't give them too much at once.

I look at myself as one of the SILLY, goofy KIDS that walks AROUND the HALLS and has FUN. I'm just like everybody else.

I've always been a caretaker; I THINK a lot of women are. We take care of EVERYBODY ELSE first, and very RARELY do we think about ourselves.

With all the media ATTENTION, all the love from the fans, I felt I needed to PROVE myself. Prove that I'm not a marketing tool, I'm not a ploy to improve attendance. Prove I can play in this LEAGUE. But I've surrendered that to God. I'm not in a BATTLE with what everybody ELSE thinks anymore.

There were some SITUATIONS where I was giving up EVERYTHING I had for the band and I just expected everybody ELSE to FEEL the same way. I realized I was just KIDDING myself.
