A culture is LIKE an IMMUNE SYSTEM. It operates through the laws of systems, just like a body. If a body has an infection, the immune system DEALS with it. Similarly, a group enforces its norms, either actively or passively.

What is human warfare but just this; an EFFORT to make the LAWS of God and nature TAKE sides with one PARTY.

There are LAWS for PEACE as WELL as WAR.

The AMERICAN people likewise want to see enforcement first, no TRICKS, no triggers, no amnesty, enforcing existing laws and closing loopholes to reaffirm that our great Republic is, in fact, a NATION of laws.

A FAIR question COULD be posed in this fashion: If people are not obeying existing laws, what MAKES us think they WOULD OBEY any new laws?

We need STRONG GUN laws. How can people even ask a QUESTION about it? Gun control is so IMPORTANT.

All a musician can do is to GET closer to the SOURCES of nature, and so FEEL that he is in COMMUNION with the natural LAWS.

I don't THINK we NEED more GUN CONTROL LAWS.

I'm still strongly opposed to antismoking LAWS, strongly opposed to any law that regulates personal BEHAVIOR.

The sea does not BELONG to despots. Upon its surface MEN can STILL exercise unjust laws, fight, tear one ANOTHER to pieces, and be carried away with terrestrial horrors. But at thirty feet below its level, their reign ceases, their INFLUENCE is quenched, and their power disappears.

Some LAWS are WRONG, and we have an OBLIGATION to SPEAK out against those laws WHEREVER they are.

Racism is systemic: It's OPPRESSION that's built into the laws, LEGISLATION, into the way neighborhoods are policed, and into job opportunities and health CARE and EDUCATION.

However, we do not lack anti-terrorist LAWS. I do not believe that the recent LONDON BOMBS were the result of any deficiencies in our legal SYSTEM.
