In the past when I was on protests, it was always people shouting out of the cars, 'GET a job, get a bath, get a haircut.' So, am I a dole-scrounging hippie, or am I middle class and privileged? Just by stepping forward, somehow you BECOME scrutinized, rather than the ACTUAL issues that COUNT.

Set POLITICS and party aside: If it's not right for Michigan's small businesses and MIDDLE CLASS, it's NEVER been right with me.

I grew up between the two WORLD wars and received a rather SOLID GENERAL education, the kind middle class children enjoyed in a country whose educational system had its ROOTS dating back to the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy.

My AGENDA for NATIONAL PUBLIC service WOULD provide a pathway to the middle class for all Americans and would ensure that those who dedicate themselves to their communities are REWARDED for their efforts.

Wall STREET has turned the ECONOMY into a GIANT asset-stripping scheme, one WHOSE purpose is to suck the last bits of MEAT from the carcass of the middle class.

As the middle CLASS is predated upon with an ever GREATER malicious INTENSITY, their children stand to lose more and HARDER than their parents ever did.

We're a phenomenally snobby SOCIETY, and it's such a RICH seam. The middle class is so FUNNY: it's the class I know best, and it's the class where you find the most pretension, so that's what MAKES the middle classes so funny.

Middle CLASS jobs PREVENT CRIME and VIOLENCE.

The TRUTH is the middle CLASS is not only STAGNANT but it is my fear that, without sustained and FOCUSED action, it is at risk of disappearing.

In AMERICA, the MIDDLE CLASS, the working class, have ACCEPTED for too long now, that they should accept less.

What we're looking for in a president, most importantly, is LEADERSHIP. A person that will ACTUALLY STAND up and fight for the MIDDLE CLASS.
