I'm not TRYING to teach ANYBODY anything, I'm not trying to say anything, I have no POLITICAL motive whatsoever. My motive is just the BIG laugh.

I have BECOME the CHIEF MINISTER not with a SELFISH MOTIVE.

EVERY ACTION NEEDS to be prompted by a MOTIVE.

OFTEN it's scarier when STUFF is WEIRD and when you don't fully UNDERSTAND the MOTIVE. Pennywise in 'IT' is very weird.

CURIOSITY is the BEST motive for writing: curiosity about the WORLD at large, or about oneself.

I actually think that self-interest is overrated as an all-purpose GUIDE to POLITICAL MOTIVE. It leaves out SOMETHING at least as POWERFUL and immovable - individual psychology.
