One THING led to ANOTHER and I didn't have to take tickets any more because I now worked for Mr. Rogers. He SAID if I was GOING to take care of his horses than I'd better LEARN how to ride. He was very kind to me.

One THING that SOMEBODY told me is that leadership is a LONELY role - some PEOPLE can do it, and some people can't.

We all have DIFFERENT SIDES; NOBODY is just one THING.

One THING I've done in my LIFE is train year-round to compete at anything, anything. I've GOT an invitation now to maybe be on the karate team for the BARCELONA Olympics. I'm debating WHETHER I want to do that. I just love to compete, and I want to win.

I'm very careful with the money I have, I pay myself the living wage, and I TRY to save the REST, because if life has taught me one THING it's that you never know what is AROUND the corner.

One thing I just WANT to say to the military families - while you MIGHT not wear a uniform, I know - we all know, the nation knows - that you serve and SACRIFICE right alongside of your loved ONES. And we are so GRATEFUL and proud of all of you for your service to this nation.

It SEEMS that the one THING that doesn't change is people's reaction to SHORT-TERM conditions and their axiomatic ability to perpetuate them far into the FUTURE.

I grew up AROUND a WHOLE bunch of girls, and one thing I realized is what they had on their plate was very DIFFERENT than what I had on mine. The things girls are made to be responsible for is a heavy burden - take care of your younger siblings, do good in SCHOOL, have some extracurriculars. The pressure is INTENSE.

One THING I KNOW for SURE - this MOTHERHOOD thing is not for sissies.

Guys, there's only one thing I HATE more than bloggers who START sentences with 'guys' - and it's those mealy-mouth hipsters who crochet codpieces and their ye-olde-sideburned friends who PICKLE STUFF and slaughter their own gluten-free goats.

That's the thing about the BLUES: It's one thing to HIT a note on a guitar. To make it MATTER is SOMETHING ELSE altogether.

One THING they don't have out here in California is Rita's ITALIAN Ices. We USED to have one RIGHT NEXT to our house and it was so good!

It's one THING if you live in London and you're rooting for Chelsea or you're in New York and you love the Giants or JETS and no matter who's on the team you're into it. It's different in tennis; you're sort of your own guy, so you have to REACH out and GRAB a person in a different way.

It's that one THING that you're passionate about, that you END up developing TUNNEL vision for and EVERYTHING else tends to fall by the wayside. PASSION is appealing and universal.
