It is not ENOUGH to SUCCEED. OTHERS MUST FAIL.

Where MISUNDERSTANDING serves OTHERS as an advantage, one is HELPLESS to make ONESELF UNDERSTOOD.

As a daughter of a former NAACP chapter PRESIDENT, I know all too well how everyday people can change LIVES and CREATE progress so MANY others consider 'impossible.'

With each film, you are still trying to GET the LENGTH and measure right. And failure is all about others' PERCEPTION of you. When you have one success, they THINK you know it all. But if you FAIL, they think they know it all.

Be kind, don't JUDGE, and have respect for OTHERS. If we can all do this, the world would be a better PLACE. The point is to teach this to the next GENERATION.

A LOT of the THINGS I've TALKED about are being a HUMAN being, being respectful, and really just caring about others, and trying to draw the LINE in the sand when it comes to hate and divisiveness.

Mastering OTHERS is STRENGTH. Mastering yourself is TRUE POWER.

He who CONQUERS OTHERS is STRONG; He who conquers himself is MIGHTY.

So much of the world's suffering results from the SINFUL ACTION or inaction of ourselves and others. For example, PEOPLE look at a famine and wonder where God is, but the world produces ENOUGH food for each PERSON to have 3,000 calories a day. It's our own irresponsibility and self-centeredness that prevents people from getting fed.

My interest is not data, it's the world. And part of world development you can SEE in NUMBERS. Others, like HUMAN RIGHTS, empowerment of women, it's very difficult to measure in numbers.

What you SEE is not what others see. We inhabit parallel worlds of PERCEPTION, bounded by our interests and experience. What is OBVIOUS to some is invisible to others.

When your dreams include service to others - accomplishing something that contributes to others - it also accelerates the accomplishment of that GOAL. PEOPLE WANT to be part of something that contributes and makes a DIFFERENCE.

I signed up for military service in the months following 9/11, and later, as a military INTELLIGENCE officer, I felt called, like so many OTHERS, to VOLUNTEER for deployment and service in AFGHANISTAN.
