To compare writing an article for 'SPORTS Illustrated' to doing a piece for 'Real Sports', the article, it was all me. You KNOW, I'm out there by myself with my pad and pencil. 'Real Sports,' I've got a PRODUCER, an ASSISTANT producer, and cameramen. It's an INDIVIDUAL game versus a team game.

I would encourage ANYONE to KEEP a pad of post-it notes by their bed and write down small, achievable GOALS and celebrate those successes and that will give you confidence to CREATE bigger ones and achieve them.

I LIVE in NEW YORK, but I still get the village GOSSIP. My apartment is a crash pad for so many Singaporean cousins and friends.

I will never take a day off POLICING the people we pay and keep a public trust with. I will use my camera, my pen, my pad, and my NETWORK to do my part, to make sure that Americans will no longer fear their government. Or its employees. They WORK for US - not the other way around.

For the last 15 years that I have been performing, all I ever wanted to do was transcend POETRY to the WORLD. See, it wasn't ENOUGH for me to WRITE a book. It wasn't enough for me to join a slam competition, and while those things HOLD weight, it wasn't the driving force that pushes the pen to the pad.

A LOT of people who WANT to be SERIOUS artists probably don't want to GO for a TALENT show, but it is a great launching pad.

All I do is fight, consistently, the best GUYS in the WORLD, and sure, I've lost a couple here and there, but I've CERTAINLY won the majority of my FIGHTS. There are those who pick and choose opponents and TRY to pad their record along the way, but I've never done that.
