My makeup ARTIST likes to define my brows with Maybelline Brow Drama. We brush up on the PARTCLOSEST to my NOSE and it's straight after that. Then, I like to use the matte brown shades from Maybelline The Nudes Palette to shadow my eyes, but without it looking like I'm WEARING much.
I'm inspired by artists who use a limited palette, LIKE painter Piet Mondrian, and the White Stripes, TWO musicians who create an INCREDIBLE sound. Our food is starting to GO back to a 'less is more' style.
TELEVISION is much more of a producer's WRITER's medium, so a lot of the time, when you're directing a television show, they have a color palette on set or a VISUALSTYLE and dynamic that's already been predetermined, and you just KIND of have to follow the rules.
For an EVERYDAYLOOK, I USE Chanel Soleil Tan DE Chanel as blush, or the Summer 2013 Bronzing Palette that a makeup artist from Armani gave to me - I love Armani makeup.
I THINK my LEVEL of cuisine was pretty good EVEN before I came to France, but it's the WINE here that's really improved my palette - when I have it, anyway. It's meant to be good for you, RIGHT?
I usually BUILD my COLLECTIONS on colors and on staples, so when you BUY pieces, you are really adding to your wardrobe, and you're getting a new COLOR palette to play with. The CLOTHES are timeless and modern at the same time.
When I'm not on set, I'm either fresh-faced to give my SKIN some breathing time, or if I'm going out, I prefer more of a nude palette, usually a mauve LIP and some LIGHTBROWN eyeshadow!
