I love the process - collaborating with the PHOTOGRAPHERS, traveling, and seeing different cultures. My MOTHER always said I WOULD REGRET it if I didn't do it. And I think she was right.

I think that something PHOTOGRAPHERS find about me is that I WORK really HARD to make SURE I KNOW what they want before I start shooting.

When I was in HIGH SCHOOL in Paris, some photographers wanted my PHOTOS and asked if I was interested in modeling. I wasn't interested because I wanted to get my education first. I was scared because I didn't know what I was getting into.

Most of my friends are in the INDUSTRY - photographers, models, stylists, and SOCIAL MEDIA kids.

It's not my FAVORITE THING, PHOTOGRAPHERS on the street, they are not always very NICE to you. But, you just keep on walking.

I wanted to go to acting SCHOOL, and I did a few MODELING jobs to pay for acting school. I never ASPIRED to be a model. I MET lots of photographers, and I learned a lot about light - as a source of love and ILLUMINATION, light as a gift of love. On film, that's a massive contribution.

One of my FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHERS is Ruvan Wijesooriya, who TAKES most of the LCD PHOTOS. His work is incredibly colloquial and RAW.

I THINK the whole movement of #MeToo is not just calling out the sexual harassers, which is really important, but also crying out that we want EQUAL pay, equal REPRESENTATION, equal OPPORTUNITIES, and that we want to see more FEMALE directors and photographers.

Photography is a BIG part of my LIFE: TAKING photographs, being AROUND photographers.

While in Paris, I got into MODELING - PHOTOGRAPHERS would LITERALLY stop me on the STREET.

For me, being able to say that my first-ever photo shoot was with one of the most well-known and iconic fashion PHOTOGRAPHERS in the WORLD is UNBELIEVABLE.

I've seen so many photographers rush to do BOOKS the minute they start shooting, but one GREAT thing about photography is that the images don't go away, so the more I SIT with these images, the more I LEARN which ones have had the most impact.
