Our goal is to leverage what is already out in the FIELD in TERMS of partners, but then hire in project management CAPABILITY and a bit of TECHNICAL capability.

If it's a WORTHWHILE project, no MATTER where it's CREATED, it'll be COMPETITIVE anywhere.

The challenge as we SAW in the Nigerian PROJECT was to restructure the economy decisively in the direction of a modern FREE market as an APPROPRIATE environment for cultivation of freedom and democracy and the NATURAL emergence of a new social order.

Self-publishing worked for me. Being able to put your work in PRINT, even if it's a tiny print-on-demand print run of a dozen or so copies, SHOWS publishers and EDITORS a completed PIECE of work and that you can follow through on a project.

You can make yourself FEEL better about yourself if you project your shadow side, if you project your own potential for evil onto SOMEONE ELSE. By annihilating them and, THEREFORE, your shadow, you bring yourself into some state of PURITY or reformation.

If you can CREATE an environment where PEOPLE are invited to do their BEST WORK and the best ideas always win, then the project itself will win.

As an actor on sets, I've always clocked how hard the crew WORKS, how much longer their DAYS are, how much lesser their GLORY is - and the fact that their commitment to the WORK and project is unwavering, no MATTER the budget.

In the field of astronomy in the mid-'60s, quasars were very sexy objects - gigantic, star-like masses about which little was known.
