WOMEN's STRENGTH, women's industry, women's wisdom are humankind's GREATEST untapped resource. The CHALLENGE then for U.N. Women is to SHOW our diverse constituencies how this resource can be effectively tapped in ways that benefit us all.

Certainly, people can get ALONG without siblings. Single children do, and there are people who have irreparably estranged relationships with their siblings who live FULL and satisfying lives, but to have siblings and not make the most of that resource is squandering one of the GREATEST interpersonal RESOURCES you'll ever have.

TIME is the most PRECIOUS RESOURCE there is - you have to PROTECT it.

Our progress as a NATION can be no swifter than our progress in EDUCATION. The HUMAN MIND is our fundamental resource.

Be KNOWN as a great resource. Are you an Excel genius? An expert on LOCAL restaurants? Fabulous at proofreading? GO beyond your job description by being an open resource for others in the company who could benefit from your talents. I believe that paying it FORWARD will serve you well one WAY or another in the future.

A great deal of energy is WASTED in HATING PEOPLE, and I can HONESTLY say I've no WISH to expend such a precious resource on being outraged about anyone.

I hope nuclear becomes a part of the CONVERSATION, at the right TIME when we recognize the importance of that resource. I hope we can WORK that out as a country and figure out how we are going to PUT nuclear in the MIX.

EVERYBODY in this COUNTRY who wants to should be ABLE to get as much education as they want. Education is the best RESOURCE we have.
