If you WANT to SEE the SUNSHINE, you have to WEATHER the STORM.

Graffiti is ART, but you don't SEE graffiti in the National GALLERY. Graffiti is on the street - that's where it BELONGS.

See, when you DRIVE home today, you've GOT a BIG windshield on the front of your car. And you've got a little bitty rearview mirror. And the reason the windshield is so LARGE and the rearview mirror is so small is because what's happened in your past is not near as important as what's in your FUTURE.

Don't forget there are two SIDES to PERFORMING. Finding the truth, but you also have to be transparent enough for the audience to see it. How many TIMES have you seen a performance and thought: 'Well, it SEEMS to be MEANING a great deal to you but it ain't coming across to me?' It is to be shared.

There is no DEFINITION of BEAUTY, but when you can see someone's spirit coming through, SOMETHING unexplainable, that's BEAUTIFUL to me.

What art is, in REALITY, is this MISSING LINK, not the links which exist. It's not what you see that is art; art is the GAP.
