I, of course, was born as if I was a MOVIE star in my head. EVENTHOUGH I had nothing, in my head I was always royalty. My MOTHER always said, 'I don't know where you came from'. I didn't have their value system. And I always lived beyond my means.
I don't know if science and reason will ultimately help guide humanity to a BETTER and more PEACEFUL future, but I am CERTAIN that this belief is part of what KEEPS the 'Star Trek' fandom going.
I never really THOUGHT it would be possible to keep MAKINGFILMS. I thought I'd get to a point where it would just stop happening, and I still sort of feel that way. I don't know if any actor feels like they are GOING to have a career forever, unless they're a movie STAR.
There were terrific shows on TV like 'Star Trek' and 'Voyage To The Bottom Of The SEA' and 'Wild Wild West.' All us kids would watch them. We would ACT them out in the basement. I think I found that I could speak a BIT more CLEARLY when I was playing with other people.
When the history books are WRITTEN in a thousand years, when space TRAVEL would have become ROUTINE, the moment that humans FIRST left Earth will be of huge importance. Star City is a central part of this story and it deserves more recognition.
