We were so POOR. EVERY item of CLOTHING came from a thrift store.

I LIKE eclecticism. To feel COMFORTABLE and not overdressed. I still like thrift store shopping, and I don't like to PUT a lot of EFFORT into what I'm going to WEAR.

My favorite scene that we SHOT in Season 1 of 'Kingdom' was the 'dance party' the BOYS and I had after we had gone thrift SHOPPING, and then a lovely FAMILY DINNER together.

It DEPENDS on the ARRANGEMENT. It COULD take 3 HOURS, it could take 3 days, it could take a week. 'Thrift Shop' took one arrangement SESSION. We did it all in a circle that day. 'Evolution of Music' and 'Evolution of Beyonce' took a bunch of different sessions.

I shop at thrift stores and consignment shoppes. I WEAR my clothes as is, and maybe get them dry cleaned WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

I have been blessed with friends who do things rather than buy things: friends who will change books at the LIBRARY, take a bag of your old clothes to a thrift STORE, bring you cuttings and plant them in a window box, fill the BIRD feeder in your GARDEN when you can't get out.

I don't REALLY SHOP UNLESS it's THRIFT.
