In the World Cup, MUCH depends for every team on how it DEVELOPS during the TOURNAMENT. There are always rising tensions. They COME from WITHIN, and they come from the media.

It was hard GROWING up because there was NOTHING close. I never went to a golf TOURNAMENT.

Hockey lends itself to SPECIAL events, including the Olympic competition: a glorious tournament of the best PLAYERS in the WORLD, putting on their national jerseys and playing on big rinks with no-goon Olympic rules and referee enforcement.

I TRY to WIN EVERY TOURNAMENT.

I played ACC and NCAA Tournament GAMES in my BACKYARD - these imaginary games - and when I FINALLY got to EXPERIENCE it in real life, it was BETTER than I could imagine.

When I grew up, I NEVER - I wasn't ALLOWED to go out. I missed my PROM because I went to an AAU tournament and all that stuff. For me, it was BASKETBALL, basketball, basketball.

Rest is huge because if you're sleep-deprived, that can definitely RUN into the MENTAL side of the GAME and can definitely hurt your game if you're playing tournament golf.

That's the reason we PLAY this GAME - to make it to the tournament, and to try to win GAMES once you GET in it.

I met my BOYFRIEND, a pro poker player, at a tournament. He tried to dissuade me because it's a seedy gritty WORLD. LISTEN, I've played till 4 in the MORNING. I've played with a half MILLION dollars on the table.

It has crossed my MIND that I would like to run or help to run a pro WOMEN's tournament, although I really don't know much about ORGANIZING an event (it seems overwhelming ACTUALLY).

To win a MAJOR tournament you have to face the top teams at some point, but if you avoid those at the BEGINNING then you can win games and build confidence. I THINK the key is just to get off to a good START.

Going to a major tournament, having that BUZZ - it's HARD to put into WORDS. It's a dream to go there, and to play. It's the BIGGEST thing you can achieve in your CAREER, and to go again would be a dream.
