I'm a WANDERING GYPSY.

I am a troubadour, a WANDERING minstrel.

There was a LOT of playing by myself, WEARING LAST year's Halloween costume and wandering around the yard TALKING to myself - which may ACCOUNT for my fondness for doing different voices.

I often look at WOMEN who WEAR great JEANS and HIGH heels and nice little T-shirts WANDERING around the city, and I think, 'I should make more of an effort. I should look like that.' But then I think, 'They can't be happy in those heels.'

You have to go as HARD as you possibly can, or it's going to be weak. Whenever I FIND myself not committing fully to a character, it's not as funny. It doesn't have that clear point of VIEW, and you find yourself wandering all over the place, whereas COMMITTED characters make strong choices that are clear to the audience.

I feel LIKE I was wandering around like a LOST chicken for the FIRST two YEARS of my career.

I think life has GOT to DEVELOP as you get older, and I don't want to be wandering ALONG doing the same OLD thing. I want more out of life.

I subscribe to that SCHOOL of thespian - to be a wandering minstrel or traveling PLAYER, a THING ofrags and patches, of ballads, songs and snatches.
