When HUMOR can be made to alternate with melancholy, one has a success, but when the same THINGS are funny and melancholic at the same time, it's just WONDERFUL.

I started PLAYING at my LOCAL estate club. I USED to wake up every MORNING to go to play in the club. I loved it so much, it brought a lot of wonderful things in my LIFE.

I WRITE because I have ALWAYS been CURIOUS about what it would FEEL like to be someone ELSE, in a different situation. Fiction is a wonderful way of exploring that.

I've always enjoyed traveling and having experience with different CULTURES and different people. But it's ALSO a WONDERFUL thing to be ABLE to BENEFIT and enable research, not only in our country but around the world.

So far, my trip in AUSTRALIA has been absolutely LOVELY - WONDERFUL country, wonderful PEOPLE... And then there's Melbourne.

To me, EVERYTHING is WONDERFUL. LIFE is wonderful.

Won't it be wonderful when black HISTORY and native American history and JEWISH history and all of U.S. history is TAUGHT from one book. Just U.S. history.

Some people who've read my story think I had a terrible childhood and that I was neglected or EVEN abused, while others feel that my parents, while CERTAINLY flawed, also had truly wonderful qualities. And that's the way it should be, because in REAL life two people can look at the same president and one will see a HERO and the other a VILLAIN.

How wonderful to know that CHRISTIANITY is more than a padded pew or a dim cathedral, but that it is a real, living, DAILY EXPERIENCE which goes on from grace to grace.

It has to START from the PLAYGROUND and parents TEACHING kids that diversity is what makes US so WONDERFUL.

I have a wonderful family. My father is a brilliant father, and my MOTHER a brilliant PERSON who had mental-health issues, but has been wonderfully creative throughout her LIFE. They couldn't have been more supportive.

A really great reception makes me feel like I have a great BIG warm heating pad all over me. People en masse have ALWAYS been WONDERFUL to me. I truly have a great love for an AUDIENCE, and I used to WANT to prove it to them by giving them blood.

And of course to WORK with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton, and work with a wonderful, BEAUTIFUL SCRIPT DIRECTED by NANCY Meyers, it was really for me a dream come true.

The Lord had the WONDERFUL advantage of being ABLE to WORK alone.
