Rich KIDS work HARD. Most black kids aren't working hard ENOUGH.

If you WORK HARD and you work for SOMEBODY who empowers you and CHALLENGES you, you'll be SUCCESSFUL.

I was ALWAYS taught that PRESSURE comes when you aren't prepared or didn't work HARD enough.

For any child growing up, anything is POSSIBLE. We were POOR growing up and you had to WORK HARD and MAKE it happen for yourself.

I BELIEVE that if you work hard and you never GET to ENJOY it then what's the point. You can't take any of this with you, the money or nothing. The only thing you can take is experiences, MEMORIES and GOOD times, so I like to get amongst it as much as I can.

I COME from a pretty WORKING-CLASS NEIGHBORHOOD in Chicago. Hard work was just expected of you. It wasn't some noble thing you did; it was a PREREQUISITE. It's what a MAN did. You get up, you put on your boots, and you work hard. We've lost a lot of that, I'm afraid.

Be PATIENT, work hard and consistently, have FAITH in your WRITING, and don't be afraid to listen to constructive CRITICISM.

I think that kids who are at SMALLER SCHOOLS or don't have offers from big schools can look at my STORY and continue to WORK hard. I preach to them that it doesn't matter where you come from: it matters how you play and how you apply yourself.

Definitely trust yourself. Work HARD. Be HONEST with yourself. And LIFE can be JOYFUL. It is joyful. Just give it your all, and it's all GOING to work out.

The reason that I'm here at all is because of my RELATIONSHIP with my family and their ENCOURAGEMENT of me to be a MUSICIAN and to work hard. As LONG as I stay there in that SPACE, I can do anything. That's my truth.

We're HUMAN. ENJOY yourself. You WORK hard EVERY day; you deserve to turn up on the WEEKENDS with your friends.

If I have accomplished anything in LIFE, it is because I have been WILLING to work HARD.

I don't want to give PEOPLE the wrong advice to follow their dreams no matter what, because it's not fun to be a starving artist. But on the other hand, life is SHORT, and if you are burning with a passion to do SOMETHING, then do it. WORK hard, STUDY hard at it, and don't give up.

I work hard. I focus on myself and putting food on my DINNER table before anything ELSE. I don't worry about other artists. WORRYING about the NEXT PERSON in a negative way is the wrong way to be.
