Everyone in life has those critical MOMENTS in their life when they know that SOMETHING they did or didn't do would AFFECT their FUTURE.

Having FELT people's love and support first HAND through difficult moments in my life makes me feel it's our responsibility to HELP one ANOTHER.

I pass through the difficult MOMENTS in LIFE, really difficult TIMES on grass, during my seven years of my career. All of a sudden I FELT comfortable.

Even THOUGH PEOPLE may be well KNOWN, they hold in their hearts the emotions of a simple person for the moments that are the most important of those we know on earth: birth, marriage and DEATH.

What I realized is that it doesn't matter how big or small your film is. The actual filmmaking PROCESS, the actual STORYTELLING, it's still the same THING. It's still all about creating characters that you like and creating moments that GET you excited or get you tense.

From my perspective, I absolutely believe in a GREATER spiritual power, FAR greater than I am, from which I have derived strength in MOMENTS of sadness or fear. That's what I believe, and it was very, very strong in the forest.

Man seeks to escape himself in myth, and does so by any MEANS at his disposal. Drugs, ALCOHOL, or lies. Unable to withdraw into himself, he disguises himself. Lies and inaccuracy GIVE him a few MOMENTS of COMFORT.

I am a very honest person, and I can only SAY there are moments in my life where I REALLY did think I was being me in the sense of my morals and beliefs and the way I acted. But when I look BACK at CERTAIN THINGS that I wore and my hair and make-up, I was like, 'Whoa! That wasn't me!' But I didn't know it back then.

I've always BELIEVED you've GOT to STEAL the JOYFUL moments when you can.

To ACT with a tennis ball and imagine it's a tentacle, or if you're in some kind of wilderness film and you go, 'Okay, we can't have a grizzly BEAR here, but imagine when you STEP over the rock there there's a grizzly bear.' I don't know. They're TOUGH moments.
