There's something about the Pacific Northwest, the scale of it, and the FACT that not so LONG ago people came here and died getting here, and then died the first winter they were here. There's this breathtaking beauty, just a little bit of MOSS on the tree, just this little thread of danger, and the sinister. And I REALLY like that.

I had curly hair, braces, pimples - you TALK about going through puberty and the worst THINGS that go with it, I had it, for sure. And then I had a bottom retainer, so my lisp was REALLY BAD. I STILL have a minor one when I get really excited.

Obviously, I've been on sets before but NOTHING as BIG as 'Twilight.' You forget SOMETIMES that you're on set of one of the BIGGEST MOVIES ever- so when you just sit back and think about it its just so incredible. It's such a great learning experience.

If that's true, then I'm going to spend today walking my 14-year-old dog on a free BEACH and treasuring the fact that she's still alive.

One of the things that MAKES any good entertainment, whether it's a play, DRAMA, COMEDY, television, FILM, whatever, is that you feel a certain amount of SPONTANEITY.

To me ACTING and SINGING are WORLDS APART.
