The Songwriters Hall of FAME, that's the one all the big-time writers get into, the really GREAT STUFF, the Broadway stuff and all that. That would be SOMETHING, to get your name in there.

You get PEOPLE who come to LONDON, sever links with where they come from, and then when they need people, there's nobody there. To FEEL like you can't go BACK home would be a horribly sad place to be, as is mistaking fame for genuine love and affection.

Half the PEOPLE THINK I write Obama's speeches; the other half think I'm on 'Entourage.' So I'm at the level of fame where people kind of KNOW who I am, but they CONFUSE me with other people.

Everyone in HOLLYWOOD is SEEKING fame and fortune; it's in the WATER here. Everyone from YOUNG WOMEN to old men - they all want it.

My whole thing is I want to have a BACKUP plan because maybe I won't get ANOTHER acting job after 'Fame', maybe I'll want to give up on acting in five years or whatever and I want to have SOMETHING else that I ENJOY just as MUCH as I enjoy acting.
