Fitness has always been one of my STRENGTHS. I can do all the long-distance RUNS. When I was at school and we entered the competitions, I USED to do the 100m, 200m, and the 1500m as WELL, so it's never just been a PACE thing.

My first INTERVIEWS, I didn't KNOW what to SAY. I was REALLY, really shy. It's overwhelming SOMETIMES.

I had a turbulent RELATIONSHIP with my calves, but I LOVE them now because I REALIZE that they were NEVER the PROBLEM.

My father would go SHOPPING, and he was SUPPOSED to buy loo roll or something, but he'd ALWAYS come back with some fish or shellfish. And we've always had FRESH vegetables from the garden. He is a massively keen gardener, so he grew all our tomatoes, artichokes, asparagus - whenever he wasn't WORKING, he was in the garden.

I LIKE to take CARE of myself and know what FOODS I should be EATING.

I started running outside when I was at 'Biggest LOSER.' Then I GOT runner's knee, and thought I was NEVER going to be able to shake it. When I OVERCAME that and ran the L.A. Marathon, it was such an AMAZING thing, and now running is such a part of my routine.

It’s so hard going into a PERFORMANCE that you’ve worked all WEEK for and put so much time and effort into and when a silly LITTLE simple MISTAKE that’s never happened before happens, it can be really discouraging.

I just want to KEEP WORKING HARD. I just want to keep IMPROVING myself. And I just want to prove people that I can play in the real GAME.

When I TOOK over in 2000, Odisha was in a terrible FINANCIAL state due to various POLICIES, some of them UNPOPULAR.
