Trump has been criticized by MAINSTREAM Republicans for not REALLY being one of them. But he is DEFINITELY one of them when it comes to the central palliative for any ILL befalling the country: a TAX cut for the rich.

If POLITICS were a high school movie, Republicans would be the jocks and mean girls locking hapless freshmen INSIDE their lockers and threatening to call in their rich parents if the teachers COMPLAIN - plus the broke kids who are always WILLING to strong-arm HOMEWORK for them from the nerds.

I'm not worried about a 'blue WAVE,' I just THINK Republicans have to ACT LIKE Republicans and GOVERN like Republicans.

There are CERTAINLY more REPUBLICANS who like President Trump than like 'Republicans in Congress,' and certainly MANY Republicans who already feel like their own Congress is a brake PEDAL of its own.

'Staunch CONSERVATIVES' and 'free marketeers' are fairly typical Republicans, while the 'American preservationists' are FAR less reliably a part of a GOP coalition.

I remember when President Bush, GEORGE W. Bush, CAME into office, he focused on No Child Left Behind, and with - and before very long, suddenly, REPUBLICANS were thought of as being as interested and as competent in EDUCATION as Democrats, and why? Because they were TALKING about it and doing something about it.
