By itself, LOVE is NEVER ENOUGH to SUSTAIN a RELATIONSHIP.

The measure of a man is not how GREAT his faith is, but how great his LOVE is. We MUST not let government programs DISCONNECT our SOULS from each other.

The films I grew up loving, and the art that I LOVE, is not generally the KIND of postmodern ironic winking stuff. What lasts is the stuff in which the artists are TOTALLY in league with the SUBJECT.

I have the soundtrack for 'A Clockwork Orange,' which is kind of cool. I guess I don't really END up BUYING a LOT of modern soundtracks. Another soundtrack I love is from a French MOVIE called 'Betty Blue.' it has some really MELANCHOLY piano work.

I don't think LOVE is a tricky ISSUE at all. Love is best understood when we share: Share TIME, energy, food, resources, insights, information, whatever. It's usually thought of as SOMETHING that exists between TWO people, but that's just because it's easier to see and feel in the space between them. Each person is sharing a lot with the other.

'Yes' is the MOTHER of all positive words, next to 'love.' MAYBE 'love' is the FATHER of all positive words.

We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious PLANT. You can't just ACCEPT it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's GOING to GET on by itself. You've got to KEEP watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it.

My philosophy on LOVE is that if it is The One, WHATEVER the circumstances are, you'll figure it out. There's NOTHING too difficult to OVERCOME.
